The Women's College welcomes applications from female students who are enrolled in full-time undergraduate or postgraduate courses at the University of Sydney.

Online applications for residence in second semester 2013 and for 2014 are open. Register here.

The Women's College offers a number of Scholarships to undergraduate students. Details can be found on the Scholarships page. Applications for Scholarships open in mid-August for the following year. Scholarships are not available mid-year.

Referees' Reports

One referee must be from an academic source. For example:

  • School Principal
  • Senior teacher, boarding head, careers advisor
  • University lecturer, tutor or thesis supervisor

The second referee may include:

  • Second academic referee
  • Medical or legal practitioner
  • Employer of more than twelve months’ standing
  • Family friend of more than ten years’ standing
  • Women’s College alumna

Fees

In 2013 the fees for residents are $480 per week, and are reviewed annually. Fees cover full board, tutorials, library and computer facilities, numerous social and sports activities, any many other enjoyable features of College life. On offer and acceptance of a place, the following additional fees apply:

  • Refundable deposit (held against property damage, inadequate notice and bad debts)  $1,200.00
  • Registration fee (includes enrolment costs; life membership of the Women’s College
    Alumnae and College Yearbook)  $550.00
  • Refundable key deposit  $100.00
