Vice Principal Dr Tiffany Donnelly talks to Ruby Connection about mentoring Generation Next.
Most undergraduates at Women's College enter as "freshers" in their first year of university, and many stay for the three or four years of their degrees. Students come from country areas of New South Wales, from interstate, overseas, and from within Sydney. At any one time College has students doing a range of degrees, from Arts to Aeronautical Engineering, Law, Liberal Studies, Agricultural Science and Vet Science. College prides itself on the diversity of its students-different backgrounds, different degrees, different talents which come together in a fun and dynamic way for thirty-four weeks each year.
This section of the website explains how the Women's College community works: its events, academic and leadership programs, and how to apply. It's a good starting point if you're thinking of coming to College, and wherever possible, the students have their own say about aspects of College life.
Women's College is one seriously precious privilege. To live with so many bright, motivated, and vibrant young women is nothing less than inspiring. In fact, it has been so enriching that this Sydney girl is back for her fourth year. You can take it from me that the key to college happiness lies in absolute involvement. You have every opportunity to realize your every potential - social, scholastic, music or sport, charity, drama, writing or art. It's all yours for the taking, just throw yourself into it! ~ Fiona Walter, 4th Year Honours Psych Student
