The [www.thewomenscollege.com.au] website (“this website”) is owned by The Women’s College (“The Women’s College”). It is operated by The Women’s College which is located within The University of Sydney at 15 Carillon Avenue, Newtown NSW 2042.

Your access to this website is subject to these terms and conditions, The Women’s College Privacy Policy, notices, disclaimers, any other terms and conditions or other statements contained on this website, and, if you use any of the services identified on this website for which additional or alternative terms and conditions are referred to, those additional terms and conditions for those other services (referred to collectively as “Terms of Use”). Only current Residents of The Women’s College will be given access to the Women’s Woogle Blog and Forum sections. The Women’s College reserves the right to refuse to register any user of the Women’s Woogle for any reasons. You shall retain all intellectual property rights for your Content posted in the Women’s Woogle Blog or Forum sections.

The Women’s College does not take any responsibility for any information that you post as Content on the Women’s Woogle Blog and Forums. The Women’s College does not represent, support or endorse Content posted by users of The Women’s Woogle Blog or Forum.

The Women’s College does not moderate Content, but may review the Contents of the website and it reserves the right to edit or to remove any Content including these Terms.

To the extent permitted by law, The Women’s College will be under no liability to you in respect of any loss or damage which you may suffer or incur or which may arise directly or indirectly in connection with your supply of Content to The Women’s College, or the subsequent use of your Content by The Women’s College or any third parties

Prices and availability

All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and are Goods and Services Tax (GST) inclusive. For customers outside Australia, GST does not apply, and we will deduct the GST (one 11th of the advertised cost) before charging your credit card.

Occasionally prices may change for reasons beyond our control and in this case we reserve the right to vary advertised prices. We will contact you to confirm delivery and pricing details before processing your order.

Purchasing goods or services

Your online order is an offer to enter into an agreement with us. No agreement is created until your order and accompanying payment have been accepted and processed by us and we have confirmed this to you (by sending you a Tax Receipt or notifying you that your chosen order is not available).

Payment must be made in full at the time of placing any orders.

Registering for the purchase of goods or services

(a) You may be required to register with us in order to access certain parts of the Site(Sub Portal). Where you are required to register:

(i) you must provide us with accurate, complete and updated registration information;

(ii) you must safeguard any user name and password which we provide to you; and

(iii) you authorise us to assume that any person using the Site with your user name and password is either you or is authorised to act for you.

(b) You acknowledge that your use of some Sub Portals may be governed by additional terms and conditions. Where this is the case, you will be notified accordingly, and those additional terms and conditions:

(i) will apply to your use of such Sub-Portal in addition to these terms and conditions; and

(ii) will prevail over these terms and conditions to the extent of any inconsistency.

You may cancel your registration with us at any time by notifying us. We may cancel your registration if you do not visit the website for an extended period of time, or if we reasonably believe that you have violated any Applicable Laws or have violated the Terms of Use in any way.

Delivery, Returns and Refunds

The Women’s College uses Australia Post regular parcel post for delivery within Australia. Local customers may choose to save the cost of packing and post and collect the goods from The Women’s College. Please allow up to 4 weeks delivery in Australia from the date you received confirmation of your order.

Overseas customers will be contacted with delivery and pricing details prior to order fulfilment.

The Women’s College will take every care to ensure that your goods are delivered to you in a timely and safe manner, but does not take responsibility for goods damaged or lost in transit.
Please read the Returns or Refunds policies carefully online at the point of sale for your order. These specific policies will outline the Returns or Refunds policy relating to individual goods, events, functions, accommodation and other services.

Credit Card Security

The Women’s College utilises a technology called SSL3 (Secure Sockets Layer) including 128bit encryption. Your credit card details will be obtained by The Women’s College only to fulfil your purchase or booking, and will not be held. We use a secure gateway to process all transactions. Your credit card details are not used for any other purpose and will never be supplied to a third party other than the supplier of the goods or services you have purchased.

Third Party Providers

In using The Women’s College website, you acknowledge that parts of the website and parts of the Content,

are provided or maintained by Third Party Providers and not by us.

Your correspondence or dealings with any Third Party Provider are solely between you and that Third Party Provider, and you agree that we will not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of such dealings.
